Privacy
This website does not use tracking cookies and does not ask you for personal data.
Who is responsible. Corso Italy is run by Shahed Hammal. For any question about your data, write to shahedhammal@corsoitaly.com.
Sign-up forms. The EngPro sign-up forms, the form to share your experience in a student story (and, when it opens, the form for submitting opportunities) are hosted on Google Forms. When you fill one in, your answers are stored by Google and seen only by the Corso Italy team, who use them to organise EngPro, arrange student-story interviews and review submissions. If you take part in a live interview, it is streamed and kept on our YouTube channel and on this site, only with your agreement. We use them because you give your consent when you send the form. We keep the answers for one year, then delete them. You can ask us at any time to see or delete your data sooner.
Visitor counter. To know how many people use the site and which pages help them most, we count visits with GoatCounter. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data: we only see totals, such as the number of visits per page, the country and the type of device.
Services that receive your IP address. Like any website, some services see your IP address when a page loads:
- The site and its fonts are hosted on GitHub Pages, which keeps server logs (GitHub’s privacy statement).
- Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube’s image server (i.ytimg.com). The YouTube player itself (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only when you press play, and from then on YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data. If you think we have not respected your rights, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
